Horrid, horrid scan. A little piece for the FWA art show. Listening to too much Beauty and the Beast, mayhaps. I just knew I wanted to draw a gruff polar bear, and this popped in.

That's actually a really emotional piece. I like the size difference between the two, and the fact that their clothing color seems to fit their individual emotion.

Thank you so much! And it's a Canon. No matter how many scans I made, there were always areas of shadow in the background, which in person is actually is a soft, solid yellow!

Wow, a very beautiful and lovely watercolor! The emotion shines through clear as day, and what you've done with the light and shadow gives the piece so much depth. Wonderful work. :)
