This one requires a bit of story to it.
Once upon a time, I purchased a D&D supplemental book called Volo's Guide to Monsters. In the book, I was given a handful of new races to play the game with. I immediately made several characters out of these races, but one of them in particular stood out.
That was Kepsek, a black-scaled lizardfolk, who I adapted to D&D from a previous story I co-created. And every time I played with him, no matter how many enemies there were, how tough the battle was, how outnumbered he was, he was always the last one in the party to die. Always. So, I named him Kepsek the Outlasting. This lizardfolk ranger is as tough as mithral, and always somehow the last one standing. May he be immortalized online forevermore, amen.
(Plus, Kepsek gives me an opportunity to try drawing muscular characters, something I've always had trouble with. =D)
Kepsek belongs to le me.
