The original Dragon Ball series has it flaws, but I cannot help how charmed I am by it even to this day. Toriyama is actually not fond of the rounder, "Dr. Slump"-esque style, but I love and miss it. I read and watched it back in high school, so DB has managed to weasel its way to being a case of nostalgia for me.
