Haha yeah, I'm a bit 'odd' I guess being into a format that was long dead by the time I was born. I wish I had a portable tape player though.

Odd or old? I still remember the first, monaural cassette recorders. We had still reel-to-reel when I was in High School (1975) and later when I was an AV tech ('76).

I would say odd as I'm only 24
I don't think I've seen a reel-to-reel in real life

I've made the transition from the 78RPM shellac records my parents had when I was a kid through 33RPM vinyl, 45, open reel, Compact Cassette and CDs to MP# and the other digital formats. I've never had a wax cylinder machine -- or an 8-Track.

I've messed with 8 track a little when I was younger, I think we had an old truck with it
