After many, many years I felt like drawing another picture in my fictional setting and story.

I want to really make the whole universe more coherent, and look through those several notes I've exchanged with bjorn_grafeldr 8 years ago - but today I'll settle with just another mood piece. A slice of life.

This image is based on a simple story about a man that sacrificed his humanity to the spirits to save the one he loved - and failed. Many years later he adoped a lost child who was bereft of his parents early in life, and their relationship that followed is one of shamanistic magic, finding their place in the world, and growing up.

Big thanks to everyone that follows me. I love ya all, even if I'm not the best when it comes to responding to favorites or similar.
