appearance:
the head is a giant venus fly trap leaf with a red tongue which is usually hidden within the read colour of it's mouth, the main body is different shades of green acting as camouflage, at the end of its tail is a sickle shaped leaf that act like a claw or blade
biology:
these snakes are both animal and plant however there cells are more closely related to plants,like a venus flytrap they can gain nutrients either by eating or through photosynthesis,there length ranges from 6feet as babies to a maximum of 20 feet with an average of 15feet for most adults, it is unknown how they navigate without eyes but it is assumed to be by sense of smell ans hearing,while most of there hide is about the strength of oak wood there head is more like a steel which helps to protect there brains, they are as intelligent as humans even though they mostly speak in hisses and snaps, they have two retractable vines around the neck area they use like hands to manipulate objects, while it is unknown how they reproduce it is known that they grow sweet smelling flowers around there necks during mating season with each flower being unique to each snake
behavior:
trapsnakes are most of the time solitary creatures that prefer to lay and wait for smaller creatures to run into there trap mouth or vines though they can chase down prey if need be, while animalistic they can be reasoned with if they understand the language that is being spoken to them,they will eat a living creature to gain co2 from it but most of the time the digest what they eat, the only two situations where they gather together is during mating season or if a Venus-TrapSnake queen fully matures
