Very interesting. The style is new, the coloring is themed, and the wording is well, definately of Don Badge caliber. :)
Two fun things.
First, having watched the video featuring Don earlier, I can't help but finally start seeing how, if I'm reading this right, the events in said film will soon be described in grander detail.
Second, why can I not help but think that Don Badge as a doctor is kind of like seeing the darker side of House, or one of those other, TV M.D.'s? I mean, one of them has to have a "secret" incentive for doing what they do, after all. *Gasps* Dun-don-duhn! :)

Ehehe. :D Yup! While the flash had things go Don's way, it's kind of an alternate version of what really happened. These comics'll be more like the real thing. At least, the real thing to Don.
And that too! There are lots of jobs that people join in for their own secret reasons. When we were having wildfires over here we learned that firemen can be pyromaniacs, and sometimes be the ones that start fires. But other professions like police officers, teachers, even artists or photographers... just about anything could be used for someone's secret reason, fetish/obsession-related or otherwise. X3

Quite. I actually had a class in college where they discussed the very matter. However, it spun it positively by saying, for example, "If you're big into aggressive behaviior, a job as a police-officer may serve as a positive outlet for that particular desire."
Looking back, I can see how, in some cases, this does work where people who are stuck with particular fetishes / mannerisms can find a way of living with them where they use their powers for good and not evil. However, the flip-side is also quite possible and, well, then we have issues that are far too scary to even think about.
Overall, though, I'm a firm believer if you can't change who you are it is best to do all you can to make good with what you got. A sort of good example comes from the Showtime series Dexter. I say "sort of" as the show is about a serial killer who only kills those who actively threaten to do harm on others. However, learning how his adopted dad helped him cope with his emotions while watching how Dexter fights with his own demons is, in my opinion, quite similar to how many of us work to overcome our own, personal conflicts on a regular basis. :)

Hehe, that's the spirit! ;3 IF you really like something, you can use those skills for good, and help out! Even if pyromaniacs are firemen sometimes, maybe they'll be that much more excited to go see it in person! Even if they have to control and maintain it. Still a fun way to make money (haha, though clearly it's more work than fun.)
It's great that a class focused on that part instead. X3

That's a creative secret to give him! I think he must have had trouble not seeming weird, just being who he is. :D This should be fun - I always find it exciting when formerly minor characters get their own miniseries, and this one in particular is already looking like an interesting story!
Hehe. X3 Well one detail that's hard to sorta mention is that while he's narrating from after it all happened, he sounded a lot more normal while this all was happening (at least until the part that changes his speaking).
Buuut he's still kinda odd even beyond that. X3

Ahh, of course, you would have an explanation for the speech thing! And it would make him seem a lot more normal if he spoke in complete sentences. But I guess we already know the pressure's going to end up being too much for the poor guy for the normalcy to last indefinitely.
