This is the reason why I am arguing that people with fur would not have much of a nudity taboo. Especially if you add trimming fur to make it look good and/or maybe fashionable. Sure they could just have the fur trimmed that is visible when clothed, but it could look ridiculous for a lover, so I'd say it's either no trimming or full body trimming. And that means nudity in front of the person that does the trimming.
I tend to keep to the practical side and leave a lot to culture, fashion and things we usually would not consider. In part because I sometimes can't believe what people come up, like the lower-back tattoos that were once fashionable. BTW, here around they were called (translated to English) Ass Antlers.
For furries I wouldn't wonder if some went with scarification to have symbols or pictures in white fur and kept their fur very short to better show them off. Just one example.

I thought they might have a special name. Truth to be told, I only got wind of this trend when it was over and a news outlet reported how all these idiots found out how much it hurts to have a tattoo removed. But here it was actually something young adult women had done just because it was fashionable for a time. No idea how the current status is.
I'd find full body trimming very weird, but given the ridiculousness of some of the things humans do for cosmetic reasons it wouldn't surprise me at all. However the common nudity taboo among humans is at least partially rooted in our social instincts, since among most primates exposing or hiding one's genitals communicates very specific messages to other members of the pack (about social status, availability for mating, etc.) and this is true for humans too. I've dug a bit into the topic and it gets very very hard to tell what about wearing clothes is instinctual and what is just cultural heritage. So I really have no grounded opinion about whether any anthro species ought to feel about clothing, I feel like any orientation would be possible. And speculating is certainly interesting!
Most of the time things in art are romanticized and boiled down to the interesting things. Just like there was no restroom on the original Enterprise, since that was "not important enough" in the storytelling. Yes, the ship obviously had to have bathrooms, and people used them, they just didn't come up in the TV show. People create what is interesting, and for the most part, mundane things often aren't.
Thank you! I think it's one of those sort of "old school" topics in furry art, nowadays the mundane aspect of anthros are mostly ignored or downplayed but I still remember well how much they intrigued me when I first discovered furry art. So when I get the right idea I dive right into it. I feel that just as in fine art, the most mundane acts can be very interesting or attractive depending on how they are depicted.
