This will be a little nitpicky, but you used "learn" wrong here. The correct word is "teach" in this instance. "Teach" is for when one gives information. "Learn" is for when one receives information. In this instance, Palkia is basically saying "this should show you your mistake." "This" being the thing doing the showing. Thus, teach.
