Una unicornio se apiado de él y decidió criarlo como si fuera su propio hijo. Viviendo entre los demiurgos (animales mitológicos) Adrián tuvo una vida de privilegios que pocos mortales siquiera imagino. No tardó mucho en que el fuera nombrado capitán de la guardia real y le fuera entregado su propia compañía de 100 soldados de a pie y treinta ballesteros.
