Vinyl nowadays has seen a huge resurgence. With new phonographs being made and LPs being remastered and re-released. But where's the fun in that? These new players have clear and crisp sound just as good as modern phones and stereos. This is not the experience that several generations before us enjoyed. They had the good and the bad. The scratches, the slipping, and the cloudy sound. That was how it's meant to be. Here you can see my mirror into the past. A 1969 Sylvania 3000 phonograph and stereo. I mainly play the modern LPs (I know, guilty as charged.) But occasionally I break out the 45s and get real funky with it. Sure beats the hell out of a phone or other device playing music. Complete with record scratches, needle slips, and speakers as old as time itself.
