I came up with this species a lil while ago. Finally got the pic finished. Tasu here is a member of a species called the Sevane. The Sevane are an insectoid species. They're very communal and social beings. They're cities tend to be fairly crowded. Not by need but be desire. The Sevane are a complicated species in their history. They have always been a very peaceful one. Technologically they're still rather primitive. Before the First Contact situation they had and to a degree still do have a roman level of technology. Intricate clockwork mechanisms were not uncommon and massive intricate stone buildings the norm. Because of their great stregnth the Sevane were able to construct these structures far more easily and due to their insect communal nature they have been a relatively peaceful species with full scale wars being uncommon. However the Sevane now have a mixed Level of technology.

The Sevane had first contact with the Resue. A nearby galactic neighbor. The Resue noted the sentient species on the planet while doing a survey and upon scanning the two moons in orbit of the planet it was discovered that the larger moon's orbit was decaying and that it would soon collide with the planet bellow. All scenarios were equally grim. Total devastation to the entire planet. Extinction of all life on the planet. The Resue didn't quite have the means by which to stop this so they contacted the Sokue. The two species together contacted the Sevane who had been observing the moon slowly getting closer. The Sevane already having a basic understanding of planets and orbits quickly grasped what was happening and accepted the help. The Sokue went about trying to stablize the moon's orbit while the Resue started to evacuate as many Sevane as possible in case the Sokue were not successful. However the Sokue did manage to pull the moon into a stable orbit once again. The evacuated Sevane were resettled on their homeworld.

The Sevane have since in in the process of learning all that the Resue have to teach them. Their species has advanced considerably in only a few short generations. Although a bit of a mythos has developed around the Resue and Sokue. They call them the Star Masters and Guardians respectively. Sevane can be found on many planets in Resue space and on the Sokue Station which was established in their home system.

Tasue here is a young Sevane. He spends much of his time tinkering, reading, and exploring his beautiful world. He's quite good with his blade although he usually only uses it for clearing some brush or defense against an animal. Sevane here is quite an average Sevane boy. He hopes to explore the stars when he's old enough. In the meantime he can often be found around the city's port watching Resue and a few passing alien species stop by. As for his diaper it's a bit o a custom of theirs. Many Sevane males tend to wear and use them and Tasu here is no different. Only he's lucky in that unlike his grandfather he's able to wear a high capacity disposable rather then a cloth one.
