Gift/trade for silvertaine of her character Doug.
Doug is, well, he's a really nice guy but a bit of a dumbass. Thus begat the rather cheezy joke. That and I can really really picture him saying "duuuuuuuuude", and I always think of surfers when I hear "duuuuuuuuuuude". :)
Went slightly more cartoony on his muzzle, but that's just the way I picture him.
