That was such a good read this morning... it all comes down to the details... or ones missed. The way the end was wrapped up was priceless... for some odd reason I think the Inspector knew the men were going to dodge the spell. After all he did say the spell would only cover the cab of the truck...

I just finished reading siriusDF's two stories you referenced. I now understand the connection. The fact that Fenris winked at me and used me as a pillow makes me torn between curiosity and running for the hills. That and Scratch calling me by name gives me chills. You sure do have a way of drawing your readers into your worlds.

*chuckles... some of my favorite 'guests' have been God and the Devil, and Fenris fits right in. I do enjoy them and their personalities, but I really do stay wary...

I gotta hand it to ya, Ms. V. You have once again woven a masterful tale, short as it is. Like Scanectity, Vixyy is wise enough to hold her own against critters that are used to getting their way when dealing with mere mortals. I love the way you portray Fenris, especially when speaking to Vixyy. And watching her bump up against Scratch as Vixyy's 'solicitor' was a lot of fun. Then seeing the three of them waltz around each other... Delicious!

I also want to mention how much I enjoyed the 'mate marks' you used. That was ingenious and so very fitting for such folk.

Thank you again for letting all of us spend time in the amazing halls of your imagination. We'd be much poorer souls without the Whackadoodle to shelter us.
