Finally, the vr version is done. There's some small light glitch here and there but I feel like they are not noticeable enough to mather. I would have like to render this at a higher res but it just takes too long right now. If I find a way to do it that doesn't involve more than 100 hours of render (not joking) I might come back and re-render everything.
Still, I think this looks pretty neat. What do you think?

This is amazing!
I don't have a VR headset, but I have Nvidia 3D Vision and I can watch it in 3D on my 3D Monitor using sView Player (I use my mouse to look around; this player supports 3D panoramas and Nvidia 3D Vision at the same time), and the effect is great! Anyway, there is no so much need to look around since it is a 180 VR video (although I wish it would be a 360 VR video so you can imagine yourself lying face down or lying face up).

I'm glad you like it ^^
Yea I know, I tried to do a 360 at first but the back gave the cross-eye effect, that and the resolution is already not high enough for my taste and took so long to render. I'm not 100% giving up on doing a 360 someday but I will stick to 180 for the near future as I think it the best compromise between 360 and flat.

I mean, there's two side by side video that are also 360. With a vr gear you will get a 3d effect too and not just 360 video. But I have a normal 360 that I'm planing to release soon. Higher res too. I will see if I can also have the VR one on youtube as well when I do so that both those who have VR and those that don't can see it
