-Nikki Lagos-
This rabbit lady is known by her neighbors and other townies as a versatile and reliable mechanic, though she's also proven to be a just-as-effective plumber. While she excels at fixing things, she's mostly a parts vendor by trade during the day, tending to a small parts shop all by herself. She also had initially been a tinkerer, though that died down as she continued to run her shop. She only started getting back into the tinkering hobby once she hired a new assistant to help her out in the shop. Devoted to her work but always willing to lend a helping hand, she is living proof that home can be found in even the most remote of urban corners.

-Kris Muzla-
A young canine teenager living with only his single mother and constantly working to nurture the little germinating seed called a dream. This young boy had been wanting to become an inventor, or at least a technician when he grows up, ever since being exposed to his first sleek-tech show as an expo attendee when he was a smaller pup. Unfortunately, any prospect of getting a higher education to pursue his goals were continually shut down with the reminder of his less-than-favorable financial situation, with not even his mom's paychecks enough to help him get anywhere. That is, until he is reached out to by a certain rabbit lady.

[How did these two meet?]
Before working for Nikki, Kris had been a frequent visitor to her shop, mainly coming in just to browse and only buying something from her once in a blue moon. Nikki was rather observant, at least after keeping tabs on what he did in her shop since he came there so many times. It was one day when the shop was closed that she met him somewhere else in town.

Coming across Kris in another parts store, she watched as he held up a bunch of money and counted what he had and then felt dejected over not having enough. When he realized her presence, he tried to ask her if she sold the same parts he tried to buy at a lower price, only for her to tell him that it wasn't the case. Having seen enough of what Kris had been doing in her shop, Nikki decided to get personal with him and conversed with him enough to learn of and understand his family's money shortage and his big dreams. Kris confessed to her that he hoped he would one day get to study at a tech school and then graduate to get a job at MITO Con. (MITO Conglomerate), but Nikki knew that with Kris's current financial standing, it wasn't going to happen any time soon, but she didn't tell him that.

Despite knowing that she herself wasn't an expert inventor by any means, Nikki forwardly offers Kris a part-time job at her shop. Besides enabling Kris a source of income to help out his breadwinner mother, Nikki also promised Kris that she would teach him what she knew, thus making him her apprentice as well. It may not be a formal education, but Nikki ensured that she would be able to give Kris at least a few more skills he can take with him once he's finally out in the world.

Kris was elated at this two-for-one deal and accepted it on the spot. Since then, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to helping Nikki out any way he can when he's working and always keeping his eyes and ears open whenever she has something new to teach him. Nikki, on the other hand, began to appreciate having someone else with her in her little corner store, seeing that she has truly made a difference by passing on her own kind of legacy to a kid she once barely knew.

In the time they both spent together, they have become almost like family, with Kris coming to rely on her more and more and Nikki going out of her way to help Kris in any way she can the moment she finds out he has a problem. It was all thanks to a little time of trial that the two became close like no other.
