Hey look a wild OC pony appeared! Jungle Mist is a kirin who helps out the weather ponies by being something of a consultant, offering ideas and alternate views in other places. Tucked under her neck floof is a small jade hoof from a broken statue she found in an old jungle ruin she discovered. It's sort of a lucky keepsake to her. She's quiet and reserved, the water element of her nature making her patient and contemplative. Of course when danger and trouble occurs, she turns into a tidal wave, sweeping and carrying the good fight to the foe! She's also indulgent, answering any questions about her people happily, trying to make good impressions on others about the kirin people.

So I watched the episode of MLP introducing the kirin and I felt a strong desire to draw them since they look like little pony King Ceasars! I wanted to make one for myself and choose a color scheme that wouldn't have people see it in a crowd and think of it as the "Horrendous OC." What's interesting is I noticed in the show almost all of the kirin have a reddish/maroon horn despite what colors mark their forms. So despite my original designs i changed it to match show canon and it provides a cute contrast and a bright mark in the picture.
