'TAKING FWA PRE-CON BADGE COMMISSIONS :3
While trying to come up with a 'gimmick' for Badge commissions at FWA this weekend, I found a few packets of frosted shrinky-dink papers that I can't use in an inkjet printer and are instead designed for real media. MmmIDEA!
So I'll be doing these at the con, for $30 each, BUT since they rely on my Toasterjockey being there to run from Artist's Alley to my room to bake them... I'd love to get as many done as possible for those who'd really want one *before* Friday evening/ designated Toasterjockey boy arrives.
Pardon me for putting available commission slots in a submission and not a journal ^^;
You have to be going to FWA this weekend, be able to pay me via paypal for a spot/ me to start working , aaaaaand have a reference or description for the character you want. I have nothing else to work on until Friday morning, and promise you'll get the most effort put into your pieces than ones done only at the con. If s'all good, comment and/ or PM me please!
Thankyou.

Baaaw, thanks! :3 :3 :3
I've had a blast doing them because there's still a 'surprise' factor in how it'll look when shrunk :x
Increases desire to keep experimenting.
So I'll prolly do these once I get back from the con, and for just about everyone. :3 :3 :3
Again the convenience-- it's not like I have to get a special envelope and non-bendy reinforcements plus shipping insurance of ultimate doom to SHIP THEM OUT compared to oh, a bristol/ painted commission or a print even. Such things make me loathe the prospect of shipping most arts. But for keychains, the shipping costs'd be $5 MAX including tracking, insurance and all the other fancies, most like. Unless the commissioner lives on a remote island :C
( I live on an island! :D ...Not that remote though c_c )
And I can photocopy/ scan the lineart before I color an bake it, so if I f*ck up I print it out to trace it and start over again :B
Eee :3
*needs to invest in more sharpie colors*~! @_@

This is pretty awesome. I've been thinking about trying shrinky dink, they look like so much fun!!
Do you prefer the frosted to the crystal clear, and if so why? I am looking on their website since I can't seem to find the stuff locally and have absolutely no idea which would be best for what application.
