And the otter gets dessert~

"Hey, If I'm gonna be a snack for something. I might as well make a record for being the only man to catch a fish while he's being eaten by a giant otter creature!" -This fisherman, explaining why he kept fishing if he was gonna die to whatever creature he meets in the afterlife. Or explaining why he kept fishing to the otter when it asked for an explanation (If it can talk)

Otters do prefer fish.

Dessert after the main course, lol

The sideways glance from the otter is a nice touch. Leaves a lot of room open to interpretation. Looks like s/he could be waiting to see if he actually does it and/or just what kind of a monster he's going to reel in.

A few moments later. . .

Otter: "Wow, what a catch." *burp* "Now aren't you glad I kept you from getting pulled off the pier?"
Fisherman: "You were going to eat me."
Otter: *shrugs* "Agree to disagree."

Well, the otter is throwing its head to the side to help reel in the fish. It's a cooperative effort at this point whether or not it ends in a burp. 83

*nods* It's the wide eye that implies curiosity. And it certainly could end either way.

Scenario A:

Fisher: (reals in a big one)
Otter: "Wow, what a monster! Congratulations, lun-"
Fisher: "Spare me and I'll show you where I got the bait!"
Otter: "Okay, lemme' think."

Scenario B:
fisher: (reals in a guppy)
Otter: ". . . . ."
Fisher: ". . . . ."
Otter: "Congratulations. Your life's complete." (gulps him down and baits the rod with 'the big one')
