Gods & Monsters
Character: Axle the Golem Smith
Race: Minotaur
Class: Alchemist
Alignment: Evil
Information: Urris is an ever growing city with massive obelisks, temples and ornate structures, all built for the glory of Omnisit. But like many monumental projects shear manpower is never enough. Thus it is left to the Golem Smiths to assist by fashioning monstrous clay and earthen giants to help in the almost constant construction. These services do not come cheaply though as its an expensive endeavor to create and maintain these constructs. One such smith is Axle, one of the cities most prolific smiths, who's clay creations can do far more than menial tasks. His constructs are carved into whimsical and highly ornate masterpieces, that can preform dance, acrobatics and even sing. Sought out by the cities elite, Axle is happy to craft his beautiful golems for exorbitant fees. When asked how he's achieved such feats when most golems can only preform menial task, Axle will only smile and remind his patrons that such secrets are only for smiths to know. Axle flaunts his wealth and enjoys his distraction, often taking to the darkest parts of the city to quench his many thirst. On such occasions he seeks out talented performers, usually those who are new to the city and wouldn't really be missed if they disappeared. Along with being a fantastic alchemist, Axle found that mixing in a little necromancy and infusing the bones of skilled artisans into his constructs made them so much more life like. To Axle, he's providing these unknown performers a service. They will gain some amount of immortality in this way, as they may have never been discovered on their own.
