The design and feel is very nice. To bad it's digital...

Digital does not equate to poorer quality artwork, it's simply a different medium, one which is used to very good effect here.

There's no need to insult an artist by telling them a piece is of less worth purely because of what it's made from.

I did not say it was poorer quality. I said I would like it better if it were not digital. I personaly dislike the look of digital. It is a personal preference not an insult!

It's one of the most annoying and insulting things an artist can hear though "I like this, but it would be better if you did this". It's like non-constructive criticism of a piece.

I think perhaps your comment was the straw that broke the camel's back for me since I see it a lot and don't react so you shouldn't consider that I'm attacking you personally but rather that I'm reacting to the vast quantity of these sorts of comments, many of which are far worse than yours.

A very thoughtful, contemplative, grounded and well centered Fox who is considering the ways of the night forest. I saw this over at VCL and thought it was a wonderful work. Little did I realize that it was also you here and that I already have on my watch list. Your color, shading and light are just delightful to look at. The slight color shift in the foreground light from the candle to the background color of the night sky on the feathers and shoulders brings this image to life! }:=)

If this was a wolf instead, with a tiny bit of blue highlights in the hair and wings, I would say this was my character. lol Well, I wouldn't have those little beads on my neck and wrists, the beads are on my skirt. *chuckles* I just had to mention how great this was again after looking at it again. It's really nice when someone can really draw a black creature that looks this detailed. I don't know why you think it was nothing special, but you are soooo wrong. This is fantastic. :)
