haven't been able to draw as much due to attention span issues ( possibly connected to ADHD but yeah. virus and all, can't get help atm ;_; ) but i was able to make this and so im happy!!

ive been wanting to make a gar oc (ive had like, 2 but sold both............) that ill keep and develop since they are my fav fish and one of my favorite animals. and i got attached to this guy so fast!
he's like a nerd jock. a marine biologist who will info dump while also being buff and way too into surfer culture. he's from texas and got his degree in his homestate, and moved to santa cruz shortly after for work. i imagine he teaches at UCSC and works at the Seymour Marine Center. real place, its super cute. if you are ever in santa cruz post pandemic and REALLY like marine biology check it out, tho it is small and more geared towards kids, i still adore it and like to stop by whenever im back home
