As a mare with Unicorn Syndrome, Nightlight has had a hard time connecting with others. The thought of needing a friend has been terribly scary to her. After all, making friends can be one of the messiest and most unpredictable experiences. Messiness and unpredictability can be two of the scariest things for those on the autism spectrum (cf. this article).
At first, Nightlight couldn't quite put these feelings into words. Fortunately, her big brother has helped her figure it out. White Night is one of few people who make her feel safe and warm. He is one person she would be afraid to live without, even though she may hate to admit it. White Night has taught his sister that the world is made for friendship. The security she's found with him has started to open her heart to the great world of friendship.
White Night's kindness and emotional intelligence can warm the hearts of some of the most stubborn people. As part of her Unicorn Syndrome, Nightlight herself can be crazy and unpredictable. When Nightlight goes crazy, White Night's shielding powers can protect her from causing much damage. He has some psychological powers to help him search the heart of a person — and address the heart of the matter.

Visual Description:
Nightlight and White Night are about to rub noses, as a show of affection. White Night is bending his neck to touch noses with her. He has a big smile, and his eyes are closed. Nightlight is also smiling, and her eyes are half-open.
Out of context, this brother-sister relationship might look a little romantic. It might look as if an openly affectionate boy is warming up a girl who's shy.
White Night is a white unicorn with a build that balances the cute and delicate with the big and strong. He has wavy hair that straddles the line between wild-looking and well-combed. His hair descends toward the bottom of the neck.
White Night has bright blue eyes and sapphire-colored hooves. His hair is bright cyan-blue with a lightish golden stripe and a darker bluish stripe. He is nearly a head taller than his little sister, Nightlight.
Nightlight is a lightish purplish pink unicorn with bright purplish pink hooves. She has darkish pinkish magenta hair with a dark stripe and a golden yellow stripe.
Nightlight's hair is straight, but it is fairly messy. It extends near the tops of her forelegs. She wears dark violet glasses with half-circle frames. She has darkish purplish violet eyes.

I am noticing strong consistency with Night Light and White Knight. This is very good as, in my experience, this shows you are creating a 'scope' for the characters, their relationship, and their respective challenges to be overcome in the story itself.
Being able to repeatedly cite a similar point, while adding upon the whole, is a great way of showing you and your characters are becoming 'one'. This means you will do well in telling their story as you know their limits, their triggers, and what will allow them to grow into better people through their shared and individual experiences in the story.
