random tid bit from my DnD campaign with friends. We visited the paladin's house and found it overrun with slaads, pretty much big frogs, and safe to say the paladin wasn't thrilled at all finding his home over run and his servants all imprisoned in his own basement.

LOL My best DnD moment so far is we have a Barbarian Minotaur in our group. And his defining trait (atm) is breaking down doors. Cause who has time for locks? We're in the Dragon Heist/Mad Mage story line and we're in Blue Alley. We come across a Solid Gold Door that needs a key we haven't come across yet. And we call him to try and kick down the door which our DM allows and he rolls a Nat20 and with his strength modifier is at 29. It takes 30 to break down the door and EVERYONE in the group starts throwing out Inspiration and buffs to try and get this done. It carries on for five minutes, everyone is rolling on the ground laughing and the DM finally gives up and lets him kick down the door. Which we then picked up and used as a countertop in our new tavern lol (I found the key to the door WAY later in the run)
Solid gold is a poor material to make a door out of, it's SUPER heavy so the door would be hard to move even IF you had the key, but because gold is such a soft metal it wouldn't be very durable, in fact people would probably just scrape off pieces of it with their steel knives until the thing wasn't there anymore.
