1994: The nation's taste back then. Green Day was a pretty good band, actually. I understand their appeal.
2002: Avril Lavigne is what our nation sadly has taste in now. How sad. This is pure pop music pretending to be Green Day with the same "I hate my boyfriend/I broke up with my boyfriend, so my life sucks even though I'm rich in real life" themes in many of her songs.
