Nadira Salac-Hasina Bust by Fefran
Nadira Salac-Hasina is a well known bard throughout Edar, most commonly with those higher in the societies than inhabit the planet. Musician, performer, as well as an established Courtesans for those willing to pay. She is also known to be a member of the Gixzavir order. An order of warriors and Scholars dedicated to the defense of the Salac Clan as well as Dracksikar and created and led by Elder Draken Sjacharytiss. It is unknown what role she plays in this organization however.
Well, unknown to the public and at the very least unknown to many within the organization as well. Hidden from the eyes of others, there is a secret branch within the Gixzavir order dedicated to more precise and secretive actions: the Japachi Iri. This arm of the organization is populated with players like Nadira, who has a well established public perception that allows her to hide herself easily. Assassins, Investigators, Charlatans, Thiefs, Courtiers, and Courtesans make up this secretive part of the Gixzavir Order.
Able to blend in with the crowds as a simple bard, Nadira is able to get away with many actions that would be impossible for others. Able to gather information otherwise restricted. Or get herself into a specific place, at a specific time, and remove a troublesome individual before they even know their death was near. Never suspecting the bard they invited into their home, playing her lyre in the corner would be a possible assassin, or would steal precious information or valuables from them. Then again, she can simply sit and listen to drunk men spill everything they have while she plays the Lyre.
While the particular set of skills of Nadira and the other Japachi Iri are not called on as often as the Rithari Warriors or the Irthtah Scholars of the Gixzavir organization, Draken finds skills like hers a powerful asset, and Nadira herself as a must needed ally. Dracksikarians willing to do subtle work for the benefit of the clan, often with drastic butterfly effects.
Then again, all you would know about her is that she is a Harakan Bard and Courtesan. If you knew any more, you wouldn’t be reading this.
