Summary: Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter had always been together. In their first year at Hogwarts, they were frenemies. But as the years past, however, they slowly become lovers. But, Draco has a secret, and refuses to tell Harry anything about it. Just, what is this secret? And if Harry finds out, how will he react to it?

Chapter 1

It was a dark night at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and in the Slytherin common room, a little boy named Draco Malfoy was sitting on the couch with a look of distress on his face. His two friends named Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle noticed that Draco Malfoy was feeling distressed. "Hey, Draco." Vincent Crabbe said as he finally had Draco Malfoy's attention. "Are you ok? You look worried?" "Who's worried?" Draco Malfoy asked. "You are." Gregory Goyle said. "What's bothering you?" Draco Malfoy scoffed, and said "Nothing's bothering me. You two should know that by now." Vincent Crabbe frowned, and said "Don't lie to us, Malfoy." "I'm not lying!" Draco Malfoy said. "Draco!" Gregory Goyle said in a warning tone. Draco Malfoy sighed, and said "Fine! I'll tell!" He took a deep breath, and said "The truth is that...my family and I are cursed." Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle both stared in confusion, and Vincent Crabbe finally broke the silence as he said "How so?" Draco Malfoy sighed, and said "My father said that a long time ago when my father was my age, a powerful witch placed a curse on him, and his family because my grandfather got her in Azkaban."

"And what kind of curse did she exactly put on the family?" Vincent Crabbe asked. "A werewolf curse." Draco Malfoy said. "Before the witch was dragged away to Azkaban, she sent a werewolf to bite my father. He was serving detention with Hagrid in the Dark Forest when he heard a growling noise, and got seperated from Hagrid to investigate. But then he regretted that choice when he saw a werewolf. He ran for his life, but the werewolf caught him, and bit his leg. He would have died if Firenze hadn't found him, and brought him to Hagrid. But the damage was done, and each time the moon was full, he would go on a murderous rampage as the years past." "But what about your mother?" Gregory Goyle asked. "How did she react to it?" "She was frightened at first, but she did everything she could to defend him. Years later, they got together, and they had me. My father told me that I was unable to change into a werewolf when I was younger." Draco Malfoy said. "I was lucky, but, my father did say this: It's only a matter of time."

Vincent Crabbe tilted his head in confusion as he said "It's only a matter of time until what?" "Until a werewolf finds me." Draco Malfoy said. "Does Harry know anything about this?" Gregory Goyle asked. "No!" Draco Malfoy said. "And if you DARE tell him anything about it, the consequences will be servere! Is that understood?!" Vincent Crabble and Gregory Goyle gulped in fear, and nodded as they said "Yes, Malfoy. We understand. And we won't tell Harry or anyone about it." Suddenly, the door to the common room opened, and Professor McGonagall stepped inside, and said "Malfoy. It's time to serve detention with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid." "Very well." Draco Malfoy said. He then left to follow Professor McGonagall. Moments later, Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Hagrid arrived at the Dark Forest. Harry Potter spotted something on the ground, and said "Hagrid, what's that?" Hagrid spotted silver ooze on the floor, and dipped his finger in it as he said "What we're here for. See that? That's unicorn blood. I found one dead a few weeks ago. Now, this one's been hurt bad by something. So, it's our job to go, and find the poor beast. Ron, Hermione, you'll come with me." Ron Weasely gulped, and said "Okay." "And Harry, you'll go with Malfoy." Hagrid said. Harry Potter nodded as Draco Malfoy said "Okay, then I get Fang!"

Hagrid nodded as he said "Fine." He looked at Fang, and said "Just so you know, he's a bloody coward." They then went their seperate ways as they began their search. "Wait till my father hears about this!" Draco Malfoy said. "This is servant stuff." "If I didn't know better, Draco, I'd say you were scared." Harry Potter said. Draco Malfoy scoffed, and said "Scared Potter? Don't be ridculous!" Suddenly, they heard a low growl, and Draco Malfoy said "Did you hear that?" "Where's it coming from?" Harry Potter asked. Fang started growling as Harry Potter looked down at him, and said "What is it, Fang?" They looked ahead to see a werewolf with black fur, and piercing red eyes feasting on a unicorn's flesh, and blood. The werewolf looked up at Draco Malfoy, and growled at him. He yelped, and screamed in fright as he ran off. Fang followed him as Harry Potter looked behind him, and said "Malfoy! Come back!" The werewolf started running, and pushed Harry Potter out of his way. Draco Malfoy ran as fast as his legs could carry him with the werewolf hot on his tail. Suddenly, the werewolf changed direction, and Draco Malfoy stopped running. He looked around, and sighed with relief, because he thought he got away. But, the werewolf jumped down at Draco Malfoy, and pinned him down.

The werewolf then bit Draco Malfoy hard on the leg, and he screamed in horrible pain. Before the werewolf could bite his neck, Harry Potter ran up to the werewolf, pointed his wand at him, and fired a spell as he said "Expelliarmus!" The spell knocked the werewolf a few feet away from Draco Malfoy. The werewolf growled at Harry Potter, and fled into the night. Harry Potter dropped down to Draco Malfoy, and wrapped his injury with his scarf as he said "Are you okay?!" Draco Malfoy shook his head no as Ron Weasely, Hermione Granger, and Hagrid ran up to them, and Harry Potter said "Hagrid! Draco needs help! He's been hurt!" Hagrid then quickly picked Draco Malfoy up, and said "Let's get him out of here, and fast!" As they ran off, Hermione Granger said "Harry! What happened to the werewolf?!" "I don't know!" Harry Potter said. "He just disappeared!" At the Hospital Wing, the nurse was treating Draco Malfoy's wound as best as she could. "Is he gonna be okay?" Ron Weasely asked. "Yes. He will be just fine." The nurse said. "He just needs rest." "Well, come on, now." Hagrid said. "Let's let Draco sleep." They all left, except for Harry Potter who looked at Draco Malfoy, and said "You rest easy okay? The werewolf is gone." He then started to leave, but Draco Malfoy stopped him as he said "Wait." "Yes?" Harry Potter asked as he looked at Draco Malfoy. "I don't say this often because no one has ever helped me before." Draco Malfoy said. "But, thank you." Harry Potter smiled, and said "You're welcome." He then walked away as Draco Malfoy went to sleep.
