Bit Boy: The Digital Drift - Starlit Subnet
I started this piece ages ago, and I finished it last night~
Thinking of a data highway running through the city~ So busy, even at night.
I don't know whether I'll actually do anything with the concept of Bit Boy, but it's just fun to make some stuff using only the 3xOsc in FL studio. Ahaha

I love this so much! There's something so cool about the way synthesizers and sound chips sound. They have a very special feel for the music they can make. And combined with the sort of composition you wanted that creates the mental imagery of a data highway, this works very well. Nicely done
M~hm! It's a weird nostalgic feel. Even though I didn't really play games any earlier than PS1, It's still a nice feeling to be taken back to the 90s. Ahaha
The composition is indulgent, honestly. It's so much fun to make a piece that flows in a predictable yet satisfying way~ Glad you enjoyed~!

You might really like the sounds that came out of the 8-bit chiptune days, plus what people are still creating today. My biggest love is the Commodore 64, and for having only 3 voices with 4 different wave forms, people were able to make some really amazing music with that thing whether for games, demos, or just music composition. Really, the same goes for all the other systems too. One of my favorite music streams is Kohina.com, which is nothing but 8-bit and some 16-bit music from dozens of different systems, and it really shows off what composers and programmers could do with those different sound chips.
