I'm really fucking dissappointed with this
I dont even want to talk about it
but fuck it, I will.

This is a 2D piece for an art contest being held by the student government at my college
its supposed to represent my battle with procrastination, but at this point it could mean depression as well
I feel that the coloring I did on this is complete shit, and I know I should have thought it out more or been able to do better
everytime I look at it, I feel like a child did it
and I feel so fucking ashamed

I wish I could have done it in paint, or with my greyscale markers, but I just diddnt have the time and once I started on it with the colored pencil there was just no going back
the color scheme of the dragon is a disappointment
I wanted black or blue, not green
the lava turned out like shit
even though I worked on it the most and used shitloads of refs
and the giant black voids under the chest and wing of the dragon came out darker than I expected because I used a greyscale marker too early in coloring to fill in the void.
and the only things I like are the knight and the head of the dragon..... I wish I could cut everything out but them
and I couldnt mount it on some black backing to make it look nice and professional because I cant afford the backing at 10 bucks per sheet
and the rocks turned out like shit, because I cant draw rocks to save my fucking life
and I bet if I had just left it as the lineart, or done it in greyscale that I could have had a chance at winning the contest but now I just feel like it was a total waste of half a week of my time.

i just want to crawl in a hole and die
