Nothing worse for a warrior than finding myself suddenly unarmed. Fighting with hands, feet and claws may not be ideal, but it's a good skill to have in the back pocket just in case.

Armour may not be as restrictive as people who aren't used to wearing it think, but it is still restrictive. Besides, that "hunched" stance is usually in combination with my shield, since that's the whole point of a shield.
