as many know i'm a sp'ed 1-on-1.
with my hand effed up i haven't been able to join the kids in wood shop. one of my students has decided i'm their favourite teacher and so sometime last week told me they were making a robot of me in woodshop.
i just wrote it off as one of their many fantasies (these sometimes include the classroom being part of fraggle rock, etc) and didn't think much of it
today they marched into the classroom and showed off this creation. the finished doylebot 3000.
this is a robot version of me
as created by a 4th grade special needs student
so it's not really MY artwork but it's OF me. sort of. robot me.
i am not sure if i should be flattered or a little scared.
had to take it with my camphone cause i was at work.
