Well, as with most paintings at their half-way stage, I look at this and cringe. XD But thought Sonia would appreciate another WIP of my current progress.

For those curious, the fun texture on the background of this piece is done using an old watercolorist's trick...put salt on your canvas (I used both table salt and course sea salt here) after brushing on your paint and let it dry. The salt sucks up the water and leaves behind some really fun textures!! :)
