Yeah, the huge gaudy glasses spring to mind, too, I think she had a slightly more "Normal" looking Sailor Fuku, too, only slightly stylized... and I'm too lazy right now to find an image.

...Honestly, the scene where Sailor V first shows up int eh show, and she's in her original outfit before transforming into the Sailor Venus outfit always has a certain amount of cognitive dissonance for me, I *know* that, *in japan* she was the start of a moderately successful manga, literally the one right before Sailor Moon by the same author, and its supposed to be this big reveal moment for the Japanese fans, "Oh my god, its Sailor V, Yay!", but I knew most of the American fans would think, "What the hell was with that weird ass outfit she was in for a second?"

also, aside from the mild case of wasp waist, which isn't a huge problem (we all make those sort of anatomy goofs once in a while x.X) she's sexy n.n

and... I just caught myself geeking over the fuku... summarize... if that where a sailor scout uniform, she wouldn't be breathing... but, that wouldn't look good either... plus the thing'd probably break and kill people in the resulting cleevage induced sonic boom.

I always thought that no matter how you dress them up, the girls from Sailor Moon always had a reason to flash them panties. episode of Robot Chicken where they spoofed said series. After Moon transformed, the monster had a hard-on that he could not bring to keep down. Hell, even Queen Veril (sp) had a hard on when she saw a picture of Sailor Moon in her skimpy outfit.

I have notice that while they "transform", they basically are the same person as when they are "normal". Kind of like the Superman/Clark Kent syndrome where no one can realize they are one and the same.
