Myron has decided to move the welding and metal working out of the old shop and into this shipping container. It will also be used for storage of equipment maintenance supplies. But I have an idea this is also going to become space for small equipment repair too.
So I have been modifying the can to suit your needs needs. I'll be making a sliding door to cover the side opening and later we will be adding a couple of windows. At time it's set it up to be used

It just occurred to me that when I temped at Lindsay Fabricating Co. Inc., we used to produce these mobile Electric Power transmission kits. They were kind of like a big "Model Kit" but had all the gear inside to set up and carry high power electric lines on three or four bolt together towers. A 25-30 foot container was divided in half with a series of "Pull Out" shelves set in a framework, which had all the equipment secured inside. The idea was that once the lines were set up, the container could be used for storage, or returned to have new equipment added. So yeah... I can see how a partition could work in making the metal shop / storage shed. The trick would be in deciding which third to be used for stowage and the other two thirds would be used for the shop. Yes. A couple windows would help as those containers can get really hot in warm weather.
