I legit enjoyed it more than I thought. I'd heard lukewarm views on it before I watched it and it lowered my expectations - but I enjoyed the final result a lot!

Yeh, I admit the first episode-and-a-half were a slow burn. Legoshi's "transformation" or whatever was very oddly depicted, speaking as someone who never read the manga, but it all came around once Legoshi and Haru were introduced properly. :D
