So, Kenju enjoys comments. When we talk on msn I get asked "anything new said about the drawings?" and I have to simply say "nah"
I then had a great idea, we'll include a well loved character in a comic. That'll turn some heads! Right? ...Right?!

I am usually too busy staring droolingly at these fabulous pictures to arrange a proper comment, but if there's a shortage..
Kenju, you are a super talented dude. Even if you weren't drawing things for Sift that are 100% relevant to my interests, I would still be impressed. You seem to be quite confident with your style, such that even your sketchier works put every line to good use, and details are rendered consistently nomatter the pose or composition. It's also cool that you manage to depict a wide array of characters in such a way that they're instantly recognizeable, as if they were your own.. you even got Rangiku's pouty little lips right :3
It's so refreshing to see another skilled sequential artist on the scene, too. Actions transition clearly from frame to frame, and there's a good amount of variety (even if the actions are usually "pick up sift, examine, stick in cleavage" lol) which is nice to see. If i were to suggest anything, it would be to experiment a little more with things outside your comfort zone...more extreme perspectives, different character body types, that sort of thing. It's one of the best ways to grow as an artist, and I'm sure Sift could be accomodating for such things :"D
Also, this isn't really related to the picture at hand, but your pixel art is dope as hell. I believe I stumbled across your DA gallery a while back before Sift reintroduced me to your work, and I remember being really impressed by the little sprite caricatures of the Las Lindas crew. Do you still offer commissions for that kind of thing? Because I would be all over that in a flash.

Really? I assumed it was because people talk that way 90% of the time at that forum...
Anyway back to the comment, thanks for that. For this one I googled up some Rangiku references so I could try to copy her facial features, eyes, etc. And sequential art? I JUST CALL THEM COMICS HAH. As for my pixelwork, thaaanks.

haha i think people talk that way because of duncan's bad influence, and mine by extension.. it's sort of the Something Awful dialect
i can totally understand about the commishes, pixel takes time and precision and focus, and also you can't make the boobs very big usually, which kills a lot of the motivation right there
if you do start doing them again, though, kindly stick me on your waiting list ｡◕‿◕｡
also, me n' dietyofdooky and boosterpang and a few other folks do opencanvas sessions from time to time, and I'm sure they'd be happy for you to join in if you're interested
