It was midnight alone by myself on a government quail hunting reserve, my car stuck on a nearby dirt road, 25 miles to the nearest city, and 80+ miles from home. All to go see a abandoned railroad lift bridge over a major river. I swear in those woods I heard voices along that abandoned right of way. Decrepit and abandoned houses and sheds along the way. What a night that was!
