My second official attempt of a realistic drawing, I'm no an expert in this style, so excuse me for the ones who knows about it, mainly if I had some errors doing it, but for this time is special for me.
Well, with this I announce the decease of my dear cat, Eddie, someone who was very loved by my family and me, rest in peace my dear cat, we'll never forget you, and I really hope that wherever you are now, you're better...
This cat arrived to us by my sister when I was on 1st year of high school, I remember it, casually I was going to with my mom, when my sister was bringing it on her arms, covered with a blanket, he was just a little kitty, casually I was eating a cookie, gave him some crumbs, and he gladly ate them.
When we were living, we weren't allowed to have pets, this mainly the landlords have dogs, so my sister had to look for someone who could adopt him, my mom constantly said "He has to leave this Friday" soon, that week started to increase more and more, until we officially adopted him.
We didn't give him an official name, we used to refer as him like "Black", my sister referred to him as "Kid" and for vet issues, we called him Eddie, although never called him like that, we got used to the other names.
He was a really calm cat, sometimes playful and kinda aggressive, but in a cute way, even I used to "fight him" with my arm, covered with a blanket or a towel, he was like a wild beast, an small and cute wild beast.
He really gave us big scares, once he swallowed a nail! And was incarnated on his upper palate! Previously we noticed that he wasn't eating as normal, and was trying to vomit, but not successfully, that was the way that we could realize. Fortunately, it wasn't completely introduced, so my sister and mom carried him immediately to the vet, and they could remove it successfully.
His mainly characteristic was he used to meow as a kitten, even as time passed on him, he had the same meowing, I think it was the fact that he was castrated, but it was really charming, and he looked so young.
I could say his life changed when my other cat, Blondie, arrived to us, at the beginning he was aggressive and hostile with him, but with the time, they got along, even the cute thing was that they sometimes slept together, snuggled one on other.
Occasionally he liked to sleep with me, under the blankets, he came to my bed headboard, and when I open the blanket for him, he entered and accommodated, resting his little head on my arm, and purred.
He liked a lot dairies like milk, yogurt, kumis, cheese cake cream, even milk sweet (in my country we call it arequipe) and ice cream, he was so cute when he ate them, licking them so gladly and joyfully.
Unfortunately, he died of anemia, caused by a parasite, some days ago, he stopped eating as normal, and slept more than normal, he was between 13-15 years old, we brought him to the vet, the doctor did as possible to heal him, but it seems like he was so weak to stand it... My sister is the most affected for this, she loved that cat so much. When she saw him, she burst into tears, fortunately my mom was with her, trying to calm her down.
It's said that cats have a life expectancy of 22 years approximately, I really desired that he could live more, I really wished he could heal and come back to us, I had faith and hope that he would get better...
If you have pets, take good care of them, it's not enough to pet them and give them food, carry them to the vet with frequency! Look for the fleas too, they really are very dangerous for them! Look for them, as they are an important member of the family too.
Sorry again if my realistic style looks crappy.

I'm so sorry for your loss :( losing a pet is literally losing a family member. You are a great cat parent, and don't think otherwise. Sometimes life isn't fair and takes our loved ones too early, and we should grow from these experiences, and help other animals that don't have a loving home as well as Black did. He had 15 amazing years with you taking care of him, and he wouldn't of wanted anyone else.
Oh, wow, this is fantastic! I think it's a really good rendition of a pet so close to your heart.
Reading your statement, it's obviouse that Eddie was treated like a king, and would have had 15 years filled with love and compassion from your family - I believe no pet can ask for more.
I would argue that it is the worst thing in the world to have to let go of them, but it's important to remember to good times and understand how good of a life they have lived in your company <3<3
RIP Eddie.
