Based more closely on the photo I used for viewer's reference for this collage of a previous felted work, this is the "skeleton" for another wool sculpture. It's about 4.5 inches tall to the top of the head and solid wool, yet weighs only 15 grams!

Trust me, trying to photograph these outside, sometimes I think they're made out of a cloud, for all the staying put they're doing. I photographed a smaller one at the same time as this, and I couldn't get any pictures of it without keeping my hand behind it, or the wind would knock it off my porch railing.
laughingsatyr did a marvellous tutorial that I learned to felt from, which also includes links to online vendors carrying materials. I really recommend checking both it and her feltwork out!
