"I want you to put me in a comic, BUT I want you to make me look cool."
What a great way to ensure that I'll never put you in a comic.
The fox is just a generic furry, nobody in particular.
In scraps because I'm not happy at how this turned out at all.
Another one of the great "Get the art done faster!" casualties. Due to this & a couple others I've yet to upload, I've declared the excercise a failure & have decided in future just to take my sweet time.
Halfway through inking this I realized I was unintentially ganking the idea from a classic Chuck Jones cartoon ('Duck Amok,' if memory serves), so I added a few extras.
On cardstock, with colored pencil & markers

It's based off of those massively oversized prayer-bead necklace things often featured on battling priest-monks in japanese video games.
But you can call them meatballs, or coconuts, or whatever you wish. I like the idea of him wearing a meatball necklace--it would explain the presence of all those toothy critters (tickarhanas).
