A few pics ago i mentioned some parts of the pier i was walking being partially submerged. This stuff is literally growing on the piers. A cursory google image search tells me it's most likely algae. Maybe cladophora, possibly some callithamnion or something in there too. I don't specialize in water plants and algae though.
