Hmm, let me think what could be improved here, I'm not very experienced with this but, those are just some things I noticed:

1-I think if his beak is open like that, his tongue would be visible
2-One shoulder is higher than the one, but that's ok if he's flinching
3-I really like how you drew the hands! is he holding anything in particular or just some random gory blobs?
4-I think the transition of the blood from his beak to the right cheek is a little too flat
5-Just some minor deviations from the ref, like the lack of feathers covering the beak and those long ones on the back of the neck (which would be hardly visible from the front anyway)

Ah, and just out of curiosity, is that blood his or from someone else?

Thanks! Originally I had planned him to have his right arm hold his shoulder. Guess I never edited the sketch so he's flinching lol. And for the blood? Thats for you to decide, I don't know his backstory or anything. Feel free to request any time as I'm open, I enjoyed drawing your character. :) hope this makes sense, I'm not a writer.
