The Sun shone brightly on the decaying ruins of a long dead city, its rays reflecting off the skeletal remains of stainless steel structures. As if the great celestial body were attempting to recreate some semblance of past glories.
The only constant in life is change, yet here was the Necropolis, defiant in its unyielding consistency in light of said philosophy that is until a solitary figure appeared on the empty road. His shadow stretched down the street, breaking the perpetual continuum of stasis that had enshrouded the city.
