Here it is! The origins story of my characters Rocky, Miles and Christopher. This was originally supposed to be released on April 2, 2020 which was "Autism Awareness Day". But since it's still April, it was still "Autism Awareness Month" so I still decided to write the story and upload it.
When Rocky struggles to admit his feelings, his friends don't know why it is. Later on that day, he tells them his story on how they had met. Will he be able to tell the truth to his friends? Find out in this story!
Note: I'm really sorry if it's long, this is what I had came up with. You can read the story by clicking the download button, if you want.
Rocky & Miles and Christopher were out shopping for some clothes, video games and food at Walmart. They even bought a box of chocolate brownie mix so that they could have a nice and delicious snack.
“Feels nice to go out shopping today.” Said Rocky, smiling.
During their shopping, Rocky had an unusual feeling which almost made him feel sick.
“Rocky, are you ok?” Miles asked.
“I’m fine.” Said Rocky, blushing nervously.
Miles had a slightly worried face because of how Rocky had felt. He was gonna explain his feelings, but it looked like he didn’t want to.
They paid for their items and left the store. On the way back, they went to go get some Chinese food. Rocky had gotten his favorite order while Miles and Christopher got the same.
After that, they went back home to eat their food after they put their items that they bought at the store away. Miles was thinking about why Rocky was having a strange feeling.
1 Hour Later…
“Hey Christopher, have you noticed something strange about Rocky lately?” Miles Asked.
“Yeah, what’s up with him?” Christopher Asked.
“Whatever it is, we have to find out about it.” Miles Said.
When they decided to take a nap, they were sleeping in their beds. Rocky couldn’t sleep as he was tossing and turning, he was also dreaming of a past event that occurred 9 years ago.
“Urgh, can’t sleep…” Mumbled Rocky with a worried voice.”
“Are you ok, Rocky?” Said Christopher, turning the light in the bedroom on.
“Something has been bothering me lately, I’m nervous to talk about it.” Said Rocky.
“What is it?” Miles and Christopher both said, confused.
“I don’t feel comfortable talking about it, I j-just..” Rocky stuttered.
As he struggled to explain, Rocky started to cry because he was starting to feel a lot uneasy. Miles and Christopher both cuddled him, comforting their Wolf friend.
“Shhh… It’s okay, you can tell us. We won’t make fun of you.” Said Christopher as he offered Rocky’s teddy bear.
“Thank you, so what I was thinking about was back in my old hometown.” Said Rocky.
“I had some good times there, until my dad got a new job and we had moved here.” Rocky said as he continued explaining his story.

Rocky, as an 8 year old kid, was in the passenger seat of his fathers “Dodge Grand Caravan” as he was being transported to his new school “Woodland City Elementary” with his little sister, Sarah. He had been nervous about his first day at his new school because he didn’t know anyone there.
After Rocky and his father met with the principal, he guided him to his homeroom. On the way there, he had been worried that there would be a mean teacher. But after he had gotten to meet his new teacher, she was very supportive.
“Good morning class.” Ms. Smith said.
“Good morning, Ms. Smith.” the class said.
“I hope you had a great weekend, let’s start the day off with reading. Before we get onto that, I would like to introduce you all to our new student. Please give a warm welcome to Rocky Wolf!” The golden retriever said, pointing to the young Wolf.
“Umm.. Hi?” Said Rocky, blushing.
“Hello Rocky, nice to meet you.” The class said, greeting Rocky.
“Would you like to tell us more about yourself?” Ms. Smith said.
“Yes, I’m from Denver, Colorado. I like to play video games and listen to music. I also have autism.” Rocky said.
“Interesting, you may take a seat now.” Said Ms. Smith.
Rocky took his seat at a nearby desk and put his backpack behind the chair. He then picked up the book that was in front of him on the desk and listened to what the teacher said.
“Just so you know, please be nice to Rocky. He has autism and he deserves to be part of the class, so let’s all make him feel welcome.” Said Ms. Smith
“Please get out your books and turn to page 37.”
Rocky did what she had said, along with the class who also did the same thing. He knew that his new life at Woodland City wouldn’t be that bad after all.
2 Hours Later After Recess…
Rocky was in the cafeteria looking for a table to sit at so he could eat his lunch. He started feeling a bit lonely, he missed home and his old friends and that’s what was starting to make him a little sad.
He then went on over to an empty table, sat down and ate his pizza. Because of his autism, it made him feel strange to some of his classmates. He didn’t like this feeling of being lonely.
3 Hours Later…
The bell had rang, and that meant the end of class. Rocky had gotten his stuff and walked out the classroom. Before he did that, his teacher asked to talk to him.
“Rocky, can I talk to you for a minute?” Ms. Smith said.
“Yes Ms. Smith.” Rocky said, grabbing his backpack. “What’s up?”
“I’ve noticed that you’ve been feeling lonely and I wanted to give you some advice.” Ms. Smith said. “Please don’t give up making friends, keep trying.”
“I will keep trying.” Rocky said.
“If anyone tries to bully you, you let me know and I can help you deal with it.” She said.
“Okay, thank you.” Rocky said.
“Have a good day.” Ms. Smith said
Once Rocky had got out of school, he looked around to see where his father was. He saw the minivan with him inside it, he then went on over to get in the vehicle so he could go home.
“Hey Rocky, how was school today?” Rocky’s father asked.
“It was good.” Said Rocky, looking out the window.
Rocky was suddenly feeling sad so he decided to talk with his little sister to keep himself company. The conversation had went on until they came back home.
His mother had cooked him and Sarah some chicken tenders with fries that she had deep fried in the deep fryer. After eating, he put his plate in the sink and went in his room to play some games on his Xbox.
When it was time for dinner, he and his family ate some Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and gravy.
“How was your day at your new school?” His mother asked.
“It went pretty well.” Said Rocky.
“Did you make any friends?” His father asked.
“Not yet, I’m still searching for one.” Rocky said.
After eating his dinner, he went back to his room to do his homework. Once he completed it, he went to go say good night to his parents after putting on his pajamas.
“Good night, mom and dad.” Said Rocky.
“Good night, son.” Said His mother.
After that, he then went to bed. He then set an alarm on his mobile phone so that he would wake up on time to go to school. Then, he went to sleep.
Although Rocky had a bit of a hard time making friends due to the fact that he was shy, his days at his new school went pretty well.
2 weeks later...
“Alright class, it’s the final week of school. We’ll clean the classroom, then you all can go to recess.” Ms. Smith Said.
The class began cleaning and organizing the classroom so that it would be ready for the next third grade class. Rocky was excited that on Friday, it would be the last day of school and he would have Summer Vacation.
1 Hour Later…
“What is there to play?” Rocky thought to himself.
Rocky then walked around the school playground trying to find out what he wanted to do. During that time, a young raccoon accidentally made him trip and fall, causing Rocky’s t-shirt and shorts to get slightly dirty.
“I’m sorry.” The raccoon said.
As Rocky had tears in his eyes, he ran away from him. The raccoon gave chase, trying to speak with Rocky and calm him down.
“Wait up!” He said.
After a few minutes, he and his brother saw him at the swings, sobbing. He had never felt this sad in his whole life, he blamed himself because he felt different than the others. The two raccoons decided to talk to him so that they could make him feel welcome and accepted.
“Hey, you’re the new kid, right?” The raccoon said.
“Yeah, I’m Rocky Wolf.” Rocky said, introducing himself while blowing his nose.
“I’m Miles Raccoon and this is my brother Christopher Raccoon.” He said, introducing him and his brother.
“We heard that you just became the new student of our school and that you were feeling lonely. So we wanted to be friends with you.” Christopher said.
“That sounds like a good idea.” Said Rocky.
As Miles and Christopher hugged Rocky, he then hugged them back. Rocky then felt a feeling of acceptance and happiness, this made him feel happier than before.
“Let’s meet up after school so we could give our phone numbers to you.” Said Miles.
“That’s a cool idea! That way, we can keep in contact with each other.” Said Rocky.
3 Hours Later…
After class ended, they met up outside the school so that Miles and Christopher could give Rocky their phone numbers, Rocky did the same and exchanged his phone number with them.
“Guess what, we’re throwing you a surprise tomorrow on the last day of school.” Said Christopher.
“I can’t wait! It will be exciting!” Said Rocky.
At nighttime, Rocky wondered what the surprise would be. Would it be something special for him? That was one question that he would probably find out when he got to school.
The Next Day…
It’s a beautiful day and that was one special day of the week, Friday. When Rocky got to school, there was a special surprise that was waiting for him.
“Surprise!” The class said. This made Rocky wag his tail with joy as two of his classmates put a birthday hat and a birthday ribbon on him.
“Your mom told us that your birthday was in July, so we decided to celebrate it early with you.” Ms. Smith said.
“Thank you so much everyone! I feel much more accepted, all thanks to you!” Said Rocky as he smiled.
“Thank you so much, Miles and Christopher!”
“Let’s form a club called the “Raccoon Wolf Pack!” Said Miles.
“That’s a great idea!” Said Rocky, hugging both of the raccoon brothers.
“Happy early birthday, Rocky!” Said Jake.
“Thank you! Do you want to be part of our club?” Rocky Asked.
“Sure! Count me in!” The arctic fox said.
During the last day of school, they watched movies and played games. They even ate pizza and cupcakes to celebrate Rocky’s early birthday. Rocky no longer felt different, everyone was accepting him over the fact that he has Autism.
4 Hours Later…
“Alright everyone, have a great summer and I hope to see you all around in 4th grade!” Ms. Smith said.
“See you at the Welcome to the Neighborhood party.” Said Christopher.
“Okay, see you there.” Said Rocky.
After Rocky finished his conversation with the raccoon brothers, he got in the minivan to tell his father about the best day that he had.
“Hey son! How wa-”
“Hey Dad! You’ll never believe the best day that I just had!
“What happened?” His father asked.
“My class threw me an early birthday party and we watched movies!” Said Rocky as he pointed to his birthday ribbon on his t-shirt.
“That sounded like fun!” His father said.
The Next Day…
When Rocky, his siblings and his parents went to Miles and Christopher’s house, they noticed a note on the front door. The note had said “Dear Wolf Family, please enter the backyard from the side of the house. Thank you.”
“Are you sure this is the right place, Liam?” Elizabeth said.
“Don’t worry, our son has told us the directions to the house and we should follow what the note says.” He Said.
“I guess you’re right.”
They decided to go to the backyard through the side. Little did they know, there was a surprise waiting for them.
“Surprise! Welcome to the neighborhood!” The party guests said.
“Thank you! We highly appreciate it!” Liam said, smiling.
Rocky’s parents had met up with Miles and Christopher’s parents and even exchanged their phone numbers. The family made a special dinner for the Wolf Family in which they liked. There was even games and they even had a movie night. To make sure they didn’t get bitten by mosquitos, they put on mosquito repellant and watched the movies under a canopy that had a bug screen. It was a night that they would never forget.
Present Day: June 25, 2013
“That was the best time of our lives, but I feel like it’s my fault that I have Autism…” Rocky Said, sniffling.
“It is not your fault Rocky, it must’ve happened to you randomly.” Said Christopher, giving him a pat on the back.
“Can’t believe I almost forgot about that one.” Said Miles.
“I know what will make you feel better, how about a Mud bath?” Said Christopher.
“Let’s do it!” Said Miles.
Both of them had prepared a soothing mud bath for Rocky. They made it warm and thick so that he would feel better. They wanted Rocky to feel happy, so it was all thanks to Christopher’s quick thinking.
“Your mud bath’s ready, Rocky.” Said Miles.
Once Rocky changed into his swimsuit, he got into the mud. He then sat down in the mud so that he could rest as it felt really good to him.
“Thanks for the mud bath guys, this is what I needed after all.” Said Rocky.
“I feel like something is missing, hang on.” Miles said as he and Christopher walked back inside the house.
Rocky had wondered what was missing, but he just didn’t know what it was. Miles and Christopher came back out in their swimsuits and got in the mud so that they could be together with Rocky.
“Let’s play in the mud! Said Rocky.
“Good thinking!” Said Miles.
The trio then proceeded to start playing in the mud. Rocky had learned something new, he wasn’t different. His friends would always keep supporting him and be best friends forever, no matter what happens.
