Spoiler, it's the latter

Character portrait for our current Pathfinder game. I rolled up a Kitsune Investigator who uses their foxy cunning and natural shapeshifting to infiltrate and gather information. While theorycrafting them, I came up with a sweet vital strike build, but, it felt it'd be too anime playing a kitsune with a giant-ass sword, and instead decided a well dressed noble swashbuckler seemed more flavourful for roleplay. But when the GM looked at my sheet, she seems disappointed at my lack of damage potential in a fight and suggested I take a fighter dip for some better combat skills...

...well, who am I to refuse the GM? - Frilly dresses and giant fucking swords it is!
