The Beatles ‘Yellow submarine’ is a great film. I grew up slightly obsessed with its weirdness. But it’s not all wacky and psychedelic as most people think; it does have a plot (which ultimately revolves around the Beatles saving a world with their music) and some enjoyable ‘music videos’ that mesh into it as they journey via the various ‘seas’. My favourite was naturally the sea of monsters. So here is a giant yellow marigold worm, probably what made the sea of holes.

The Beatles winding captain Fred up with their various Pun which I think is 90% of their dialogue in the film (and that’s not a criticism).

So yellow! FINALLY. This colour series of inktober has been sponsored by ‘Spectrum noir’, who do pretty good markers. But I only have two sets of spectrum noir- a pastel set and YELLOW. I’ve finally flexed that yellow set which I actually bought very recently from work. Yellow is always a hard colour to find variants of.
