"While it seems plausible that the regenerative side effects of lycanthropy (and other transformative diseases and curses) can lead to improved health outcomes for people who have recovered from COVID-19 but are suffering from severe aftereffects, we strongly urge against attempting to acquire lycanthropy as a preventative measure or as a treatment for patients who already have COVID-19. The stress of the first transformation may do more harm than good, especially if it occurs in a patient with a severe case of COVID-19 (or any other disease). Even more disturbing is the possibility that the two viruses may undergo an antigenic shift if they are both present in one patient, giving rise to a strain of lycanthropy that can spread through casual contact as the coronavirus does."
