Some headshots for Scar's children in my TLK universe. And please don't comment saying things like "Nuka isn't Scar's son!" or "Scar didn't have any children!" Yes, I know that he didn't canonically have any children and that the people who worked on TLK2 stated that Zira wasn't his mate. I'm fully aware of that. But this isn't an official TLK story, it's just my own little fan work. ;)

Tojo
Scar x Naanda

Scar's firstborn, although he doesn't believe that Tojo is actually his. Before he began plotting to seize the throne for himself, Scar's brother Mufasa and his mate Sarabi had some problems conceiving a cub. Wanting to beat his brother to the punch with producing an heir, Scar mated with his then betrothed Naanda, hoping that she could give him a strong and healthy son.

This results in Tojo, born about two weeks before his cousin Simba. When Scar first lays his eyes on the cub Naanda produced, he's disappointed to say the least. He was tiny and weak, and beyond that he didn't even look like him. Scar is convinced that Tojo isn't his and that Naanda must have cheated on him with some rogue, and while Naanda tries to convince him otherwise, the two argue about it until Naanda finally shouts "Alright fine, he's not yours! He's mine!"

Naanda raises Tojo away from Scar, which he didn't mind at all. He was convinced that Tojo wasn't his, and even if he was, he was nothing like he had hoped for in an heir. Years later when Tojo is reaching adulthood, Scar has him and all the other young adult males exiled from the Pridelands. Tojo ends up settling down in the Grasslands pride where he becomes mates with Malka's sister Amira, who gives him a son named Alfajiri.

Kamili
Scar x Sarabi

After killing his brother and taking the throne for himself, Scar takes the now widowed Sarabi as his mate and wastes no time in trying to get some potential heirs out of her. This results in Sarabi bearing two cubs: a son and a daughter. Scar wasn't interested in the daughter, but the son was everything he'd been hoping for. With his hooked nose, green eyes and a similar pelt color, Scar had finally gotten his perfect heir.

As soon as Kamili is weaned, Scar takes him away from Sarabi and began to teach the boy everything he needed to know to be a king, or at least as much as he knew. He only knew so much since he couldn't accompany Mufasa on his lessons when he was young, but his did manage to teach him a few new things, such as how to rule over others and how hyenas are a lion's best friend. But while Kamili does his best to listen to his father's teachings, he couldn't help but feel that he didn't want to be a king. One night, Kamili gets up claiming that he was off to get a drink from the water hole, but in reality he was actually leaving his home behind.

After going AWOL, Kamili ends up being taken in by a rogue lioness named Inira and her two adopted children Zaire and Chausiku. Kamili later becomes mates with Chausiku and has a daughter named Zola.

Zanta
Scar x Sarabi

Kamili's littermate, Zanta was immediately loved by her mother Sarabi, who was glad to have another child after the "death" of her son and former mate. Growing up, Zanta was close with her mother, and whenever Scar wasn't within earshot she would sometimes tell her stories about what her half-brother and uncle were like.

As Zanta grew, she could tell that her father wasn't a very good king and wass leading the Pridelands into ruin. One night Zanta meets up with Nala, who tells her about her plan to leave the Pridelands to look for a lion that can overthrow Scar. Zanta helps her escape by distracting the hyenas patrolling the border, but their plan doesn't go unnoticed for long. Zira happens to overhear Zanta saying that she hopes she'll bring back someone who can overthrow Scar, and she immediately runs off to tell her father about it. After making her confess to have helped Nala to escape, Scar deems Zanta a traitor and exiles her on the spot. The hyenas are sent after her as she flees, but Zanta manages to escape with a few wounds and a missing tail tuft.

After having some time to recover from her wounds, Zanta ends up meeting a rogue male named Angani, who befriends her and helps her hunt for food. But Angani soon makes it apparent that he wants her company for...other reasons, and after doing something horrible to Zanta, she snaps and kills Angani. Zanta later discovers that she is pregnant with his cubs and ends up giving birth to a daughter named Safi and a son named Kidogo. Zanta loves her two cubs despite how they came to exist, and after reuniting with her brother Kamili she soon meets other lions without a pride or a place to call home, and ends up forming her own little pride of outcasts know as the Wazi Pride.

Nukato aka "Nuka"
Scar x Zira

With the sudden disappearance of his son Kamili, Scar was now in need of a new heir. Sarabi was now getting older and probably couldn't produce cubs anymore, so he decides to try for an heir with Zira, one of his most loyal followers. This results in a male cub named Nukato, and while he was pretty scrawny at birth, Scar was hopeful for the boy and anounced him as his new heir. Unlike Tojo, he had no doubt that Nukato was truly his, and expected him to strengthen as he grew.

Unfortunately, as Nukato got older, it became apparent that he wasn't exactly king material. He wasn't very strong or smart, and while Scar tried to train him to be king, he proved to be unteachable. With disappointment, Scar renounced his son as future king and decided to try again with Zira. Nukato was crushed that he wouldn't be king, but was still well loved by his mother Zira. But after the return of his older cousin Simba and the death of his father, things changed. Now being called "Nuka", Zira hardly paid any attention to him and focused almost all her time on Kovu, a cub that Zira proclaimed was Scar's new heir. This didn't sit well with Nuka, and he tried time and time again to prove himself to his mother and win her love back, which would ultimately cost him his own life. Before his untimely death, Nuka ended up siring a cub with a Pridelander lioness named Zuri, who ended up bearing a son named Nufaika.

Vitani
Scar x Zira

After it turned out that Nuka wasn't what he'd been hoping for, Scar decides to try for another heir with Zira. After she becomes pregnant once again, Scar proposed that they have an additional safety net in place. Should this next litter be unsuccessful or unsatisfactory, the strongest cub born to any of the other Outsider lions would be his heir. Ever loyal to her king, Zira agreed, but Scar never got to see this next litter as he was later overthrown by Simba and killed by his hyena lackeys. After she and her fellow Outsiders were exiled from the Pridelands for their loyalty towards Scar, Zira ended up giving birth to two cubs named Kisasian and Vitani. Kisasian died after only a month and Vitani, while healthy, was still a runt. Vitani ends up growing up into a fearsome lioness and becomes one of er mother's most trusted soldiers, and after the war with the Pridelanders ends peacefully, she ends up becoming the new leader of the Pridelands' Lion Guard. Vitani becomes mates with a Pridelander lioness named Tiifu and they have a pair of sons named Moyo and Shuka, both of whom were conceived with help from a passing rogue.

Kisasian
Scar x Zira

Vitani's littermate, Kisasian would've been raised to be Scar's heir. But unlike his sister, he is sickly at birth and dies when he is only a month old. Zira is devastated by his passing, but she honors the promise she kept to her beloved king and vows to find a new heir to take his place. And she ends up finding that heir in the form of a brown-furred, green-eyed cub born to one of her pridesisters...
