Okami is extremely underrated, and we as a society don't talk about it enough.

I finished the pencil sketch for this one, and realized that this *had* to be in watercolor (if you know Okami's artstyle, you know why). I was kind of terrified of ruining it, but after mulling it over, and some wonderful encouragement from my friends, I buckled down and did it.

This wound up being a mixed media thing: mostly watercolor, some colored pencil, and a shitty, off-brand Crayola marker I found at the bottom of the drawer.

I'm really happy with this one. It felt like a big risk, but it turned out to be a great learning experience, and the result is one of my favorite QCs, if not one of my favorite pieces I've made, period ^_^
