Countless ways, car can just randomly explode, marching band can show up and no one hears anything being said, UFO abducts the kid and they go on a whirlwind adventure to save the kid, she's actually a vampire and the wolf is a wereshark which makes them mortal enemies, the kangaroo might wake up and find out the accident was actually much much worse than previously thought or Harry wakes up from under the cupboard and he never actually went to Hogwarts
Have to? I'm nyot sure what exactly you're trying to get triggered on but kind of going like the woman could have hinted a bit more to her friend. Wouldn't have caused such a shock and maybe she could have told her much sooner on where she stands instead of all that emotional and sexual turmoil. Real shame such frustration must of built up in that poor girl but sometimes you do it to yourself
You literally said Adrian didn't pick up on Hilde wanting to get with her, as if she was supposed to have the "logical conclusion" that if your friend is helping you out it must mean said friend wants to have a romantic thing with you. Hilde had an ulterior motive from the start and in the end she gets what she wanted.
You nailed the body postures and facial expressions perfectly! I can see the array of surprise, speechlessness, flattery, unease, pensiveness, distrust, and lead anger in Adrian's face.

Your story here has really captivated me in a similar way to how a kids movie would back when i would watch those, i should imagine this will be far from a kids movie soon enough lol but thanks for letting me feel compassion towards a character again, only ever really been possible for me to like a character who is an anthropomorphic animal. Anyone else feel the same way? i think its the reason I've been drawn towards this site :P
